2420 Napped Surface
2420 is an embossed, siliconized cloth designed to
wrap around rollers on any style of converting machinery. The unique design
guarantees a high coefficient of friction that grips the web as it passes
over rollers to keep material moving. A special release coat keeps inks, coatings,
or adhesives from building up on the rollers or drums.
2421 is non-embossed siliconized cloth especially suited
for roller wrap applications which call for high surface friction and high
grip. Typically used for evenly spreading tension across the web in the film,
paper, and other various industries.
The adhesive is protected by a liner which must be removed before
application
When spirally wound onto Web Rollers they offer the following
advantages:
- Significantly improve the flow of web material (plastics, paper etc)
on transport rollers.
- Restores worn or contaminated web rollers.
- Reduces build up of newsprint on web transport rollers.
- Cost effective alternative to expensive roller treatments.
- Easy to clean, using only household detergents and water.
- Reduces machine down-time for cleaning operations.
- Self-adhesive for easy application.
